Tim Bruce-Dick MAhons, AAdipl, RIBA Tim Bruce-Dick received an MA in Art History at Edinburgh University, and a Diploma in Architecture from the Architectural Association, London. He worked for Lambeth B C architects department, and Arup Associates before establishing his own private practice in London. Tim taught Design and History at Oxford Brookes University School of Architecture [formerly Oxford Polytechnic] 1974-1992 where he led many student trips abroad as well as teaching at several Oxford University summer schools . He presently teaches the Appreciation of Contemporary Architecture at City University, London, organises several trips abroad and in Britain each year to see the latest architecture, as well as leading walks in London. These tours range from week long visits abroad to weekends in British cities, and day outings in a bus. We’ve been to (in alphabetical order): Basel, Berlin[2], Bilbao[5], Brno, Bucharest, Budapest, Chicago, Dresden[2], France (two Le Corbusier tours), Leipzig, Lyon[2], Madrid, Moscow, New York, Northern Italy tour (featuring Palladio), Paris, Prague[2], Rioja (tour of wineries), Rome, Sicily, Slovenia, Trieste, Turin[2], Valencia[2], Vienna. Weekends trips have included visits to Cambridge. Newcastle, Manchester, Oxford, and Glasgow.
